All the products in the market claim to do wonders for our skin, but whether we go to the salon for spas and facials or indulge with a set skincare regime of cleansing, toning and moisturizing at home, a fact which cannot be ignored. What can be done is that the harmful chemicals present in these products can be harmful to our skin in the long run.  Not many of us know that we have abundant blessings of nature when it comes to skin care.  Readymade products – creams, beauty soaps, scrubs, cleansers all claim to contain natural ingredients like flower, leaf extracts, fruit extracts etc. But we can always use natural ingredients as they are free from any chemicals and ingredients. Contains toxins.  Using natural ingredients on our skin keeps the skin soft and glowing. 1. Green Tea – Known for its antioxidant properties and refreshing taste, green tea is great for the skin.  Apart from drinking it, it can also be easily used as a face cleanser along with your regular cleanser.  Simply add two tablespoons of loose green tea to your regular cleanser, stir and apply.  Five minutes after the dead skin cells have softened, rub in gently and wash off.  (file photo)

It can also be used as a facial cleanser on sensitive or mixed skin types.
