New Delhi: While the investigation into the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala is on, a CCTV image has emerged from the village of the slain singer in Mansa, when he was brutally killed by assailants in broad daylight while he was driving his jeep. According to reports, the CCTV footage is from 15 minutes before the shocking firing on May 29.

His cousin and a friend who were traveling with him in the jeep were also injured in the attack. Musewala was among 424 people whose security was temporarily withdrawn or reduced by the Punjab Police.

The Punjab Police had termed the incident as a case of inter-gang rivalry and said that Lawrence Bishnoi gang was behind the murder. Goldie Barr, a Canadian resident, who is a member of the gang, claimed responsibility for the murder.
