Mumbai: Shah Rukh Khan’s teaser and the first look of his upcoming film ‘Jawaan’ have caught the attention of fans who are worried about the presence of the superstar. The banded look seen in the teaser and which was trending on social media platforms, according to some netizens is similar to the character played by Liam Neeson in the 1990 hit ‘Darkman’.
In fact, some social media users have even gone as far as to say that they think the Hindi adaptation of Shah Rukh’s film ‘Darkman’. Story of plot with #Bollywood Tadka, Mirch Masala, Romance & Item Song #SRK but overall shape will be #copycat #bollywoodcopy.

On Friday, Shah Rukh shared the teaser of the film and wrote on Instagram, “An action packed 2023!! – Bringing you #Jawan, an explosive entertainer in cinemas on 2nd June 2023. In Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada The teaser video shows Shah Rukh, injured and wrapped in bandages, amidst a rugged backdrop.
The first look of the film sets the tone for the upcoming, larger-than-life action entertainer that will release in cinemas across the world on June 2, 2023 in five languages - Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.
Meanwhile, Khan is currently busy with two other projects – Deepika Padukone in Siddharth Anand’s ‘Pathan’ and Taapsee Pannu in Rajkumar Hirani’s ‘Dunki’.
