For her wedding, Nayanthara was dressed in a handcrafted sari that came in vermilion red and designed by Monika Shah, with intricately felt on tone embroidery inspired by the carvings of Hoysala temples .

In a thoughtful tribute to the actor’s love for tradition, the designers reimagined the goddess Lakshmi motif as armbands on the sleeves of a full-sleeved blouse.
