Sivan issued an apology letter to the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams Board. He wrote, “Dear all, we always wanted our wedding to take place in Tirupati but due to logistical reasons it was not possible and we had to get our wedding done in Chennai. To make our wedding happen perfectly, we made sure that Let us go straight to Tirupati. From our wedding venue (without going home) to see Sami Kalyanam and to seek the blessings of Lord Balaji to whom we have immense devotion. We had a wonderful darshan and to remember this day Wanted to click a picture outside the temple and to feel that the wedding was completed as per our wish but due to the crowd and chaos we had to exit the premises and re-enter when there was less commotion. for a quick picture we did in a hurry for a quick picture outside the temple later when we came back we didn’t know we had shoes on.we are a couple who regularly visit temples and have immense faith in god We have been to Tirumala about 5 times in the last 30 days. To have our wedding there!”
He continued and said, “We sincerely apologize to those we could have offended and we do not mean to disrespect the Lord we love. We wish all the love and best wishes for our special day.” Thank you so much and we hope that you will continue to shower us with just the positivity we need from you.”
According to Narasimha Kishore, Chief Vigilance Security Officer, Tirumala Tirupati Deshasthanam Board, wearing sandals is strictly prohibited inside the temple premises. Informing that they will soon give a legal notice to the actor, he said, “We are giving notice to Nayanthara.. We have spoken to her too and she is issuing a video to the press apologizing to Lord Balaji, TTD and pilgrims. However, we are going to give notice to them.”
The 37-year-old actor tied the knot with Vignesh in an intimate ceremony at a private resort in Mahabalipuram. Close friends and family members attended the ceremony. Only a few celebrities were invited. Rajinikanth, Shah Rukh Khan and director Atlee were some of the celebrities who were seen at the wedding.
