Los Angeles: Hollywood stars Zendaya and Tom Holland took top honors at the MTV Movie & TV Awards. Actress Vanessa Hudgens hosted the ceremony live on MTV. Taishia Adams takes over hosting for the second half of the show, honoring the best in unscripted television, reports Variety.
Zendaya and Holland won big, each performing for their respective roles in “Euphoria” and “Spider-Man: No Way Home,” which also won Best Show and Best Film awards.
Actress Scarlett Johansson won Best Hero for her turn as “Black Widow”, while Daniel Radcliffe won Best Villain for her performance in “The Lost City”.
Actor Jack Black took home the Comedic Genius Award, while Jennifer Lopez accepted the Generation Award and gave an emotional speech, in which he spoke about his children, the people who brought him joy, and his manager Benny Medina, as well as “Thank you to everyone.” who told me to my face or when I wasn’t in the room that I couldn’t do it.”
Earlier at the ceremony, Lopez won the best song award for On My Way (Marry Me).

Puppies and snakes of ‘Jack’s Forever’ were awarded the Best Kiss trophy. In Best Comedy Performance, Ryan Reynolds took home the honor for “Free Guy.”
In the breakthrough performance genre, it was Sofia Di Martino’s performance from ‘Loki’ that was named as the winner.
