New Delhi: Actress Kangana Ranaut, who is fond of social media, recently got in the way of a spoof video on the internet. She took to her Instagram stories and called Qatar Airways CEO Akbar Al Baker ‘a man’s idiot’ based on the viral parody video clip.
In view of the current political turmoil in the country regarding the BJP leader, Nupur Sharma’s derogatory remarks on Prophet Muhammad and Naveen Kumar Jindal’s controversial tweet, a Twitter user by the name of Vasudev uploaded a video urging Indians to boycott airlines. He made this video after a diplomatic blow to India for the derogatory remarks made by two BJP leaders towards Prophet Muhammad.
After Vasudev’s videos flooded online, another Twitter user came up with a spoof video dubbing an interview of the Qatar Airway chief with Al Jazeera TV channel. The dubbed video is made as if Akbar Al Baker is personally appealing to Vasudev to withdraw his boycott.
Unfortunately, Kangana fell for this spoof video and gave a strong reaction to it. she wrote: “All so called Indians who are excited to make this bully just to make fun of a poor man, remember that this is the reason why all of you are a huge burden on this populous country.”
“This fool of a man has no shame in mocking a poor man for his insignificance and place in the world… For a rich man like you Vasudev may be poor and unimportant but he has to express his sorrow, pain and despair. in whatever context it is… remember there is a world beyond this world where we are all equal…”
The actress was quick to realize her mistake and deleted her IG stories.
